"I was really weak because I had anaemia. Now it has been one year since I had my transplant. I feel like a new person. I got the care it was truly great. Aplastic anaemia is a problem but the doctors and nurses were very good. They helped me a lot. One year after my transplant I am feeling happy and healthy. I am very thankful, for the care I received. Aplastic anaemia is not bothering me now. I feel reborn because of the care."

I feel like I can do things that I could not do before my bone marrow transplant. Sickle cell is still a part of my life. It is not in charge. I am, in charge now."
